Matte Black Construction embarked on the transformation of a 3,000 square foot Duplex, followed by the construction of a new 1,200 square foot Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) featuring a rooftop deck. Our dedicated team of project managers collaborated closely with the Architect and Structural Engineer from the project's inception to its final permit sign-off, ensuring meticulous attention to detail throughout. Notably, Matte Black Construction navigated the approval process with the Carthay Circle Historical Design Review Board, securing permission for the unique rooftop deck—an exceptional addition to the neighborhood. Leveraging our extensive expertise and strong rapport with the Los Angeles Department of Building & Safety, we expedited the plan-check approval process, facilitating a seamless progression from concept to completion.
